Germany is Europe's most populous country and German is therefore one of Europe's most influential languages. This makes your German language skills valuable in many contexts. Just outside the classroom, put your knowledge into practice in the real world!

Berlin has become a trendy and dynamic city that has shaken off its turbulent past and moved on, straighter than ever. The German capital has become a proud and popular city, in fact it has more visitors than Rome per year.

After World War II, Berlin was divided in two, but the famous wall between East and West has now been demolished, and small parts have been preserved so that they will never be forgotten. The Brandenburg Gate triumphal arch is a major attraction and has become a symbol of the Cold War and the division of the city, but also of the "new" Germany, a centre for design, fashion, art and music, where the cultural offering is enormous.

From the Brandenburg Gate you can follow the famous souvenir shopping boulevard Unter den Linden to Museumsinsel, a whole island of museums in the middle of the River Spree, which runs through Berlin. The city's mighty Reichstag building is a national treasure you shouldn't miss, and just beyond it is the Holocaust Memorial.

In the direction of Potzdamer Platz, located in the heart of Berlin, you can also see Hitler's headquarters and the last bunker from the war. The main border post between East and West from when Berlin was a divided city is called Checkpoint Charlie and is today one of the city's most famous attractions.

Berlin has a number of restaurants that tempt you for a cosy moment. Try a real Currywurst - a curry sausage - the German way. They are served with large portions of French fries, mayonnaise and curry ketchup.

The school is centrally located in the city and offers a wide range of courses and, of course, an extensive leisure programme.

Course programme, accommodation and activity programme

You can choose from 1-4 week language courses with accommodation either with host families or at the school's boarding school (shared room, full board, i.e. 3 meals per day).

Our accredited partner schools will offer Standard Courses with 20 lessons per week (it is possible to book Intensive Courses if needed) with exciting activity programmes, afternoon and weekend excursions.

There will also be evening activities for those who book the accommodation. Airport transfers are included in the price.
